Description:
This course of study introduces students to the world of work in the field of Service Careers. The course is designed to help students make a successful transition from school to work.

The curriculum is prepared to aid and instruct students in employability skills and specific occupational skills. Instruction provides for employment skills in areas such as socialization, communication, job procurement, safety and personal hygiene. Training for specific occupational skills is provided in the classroom as well as simulated work-site learning. Job training for each student is provided according to his/her abilities following teacher assessment and evaluation. This program provides students with practical knowledge and training to pursue job skills in a variety of fields.

Hours:
Morning session – 8:10 – 11:10 a.m.
Afternoon session – 12:45 – 3:45 p.m.
