“The graduates of our leadership program come from a wide variety of professions and all age groups – from their 20s to their 60s,” says Sandy Bull, Leadership Mid-America Program Director and Small Business Management Coordinator. “A broad cross-section of the area communities is represented in each class, creating a pool of graduates who offer diverse insight and regional networking when meeting the challenges ahead.”

THE PROGRAM Participants attend 8 full day sessions focusing on but not limited to:
MEETING DATES Most classes meet from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month beginning in September and ending in April. Class members will qualify for graduation by earning points for regular attendance and approved extra-curricular activities. A detailed schedule is available upon request.

THE ORGANIZATION Mid America Leadership is an outgrowth of the Mid-America Business & Industry Council. It is a non-profit organization, guided by a board of directors, and suported by area businesses and organizations.
Civic involvement and networking at the State Capitol THE PARTICIPANTS A broad cross-section of the area communities are reflected within each class, creating a pool of graduates who offer diverse insight and regional networking when meeting the challenges ahead. FINANCIAL INFORMATION Tuition for the program is $250. Payment can be made by personal or corporate check. Tuition covers all snacks and meals, program material, speakers, transportation during the sessions and graduation banquet. Businesses and organizations are encouraged to pay the tuition of their participant and most do — this is between the participant and the employer.
