Certified Medication Aide
| Description: If you are a practicing Certified Nurse Assistant, this class will help you expand your qualifications. Certified Medication Aides can administer certain medications in nursing facilities, specialized facilities, residential care homes, and assisted living centers. After you complete the course you will test for your certification. You must have a minimum of 40 hours attendance. Prerequisites: Current Home Health Care Aide, Long Term Care Aide, or Developmentally Disabled Care Aide with no abuse notation, at least 18 years of age, high school diploma or GED, 6 months experience as a CNA, physically & mentally able to perform duties. Need copy of current U.S. Government Photo ID and original Social Security card before testing. Need copy of CNA card. Test Fee $35.00. No discounts. |
