Description:

Students in this program will learn skills needed to be able to cover the diagnosis and repair of the modern diesel truck. They will cover safety, tools, and equipment operation for the repair industry; learn about electrical theory, electrical system repairs, brake systems, engine repair, climate control system, steering/suspension systems, and the drive train. Students will cover Engine Performance and Drivability diagnosis using diagnostic tools to determine necessary action. Students will learn how to test and replace the components of all of these systems. In addition, students will learn about preventative maintenance inspection and service procedures, regulations, and documentation. This program is accredited by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF) in all 8 areas: Brakes, Steering & Suspension, Drivetrain, HVAC, Electrical/Electronics, Preventive Maintenance, Diesel Engines, and Hydraulics.
