Description:
The Pre-Engineering Program is designed to prepare high school students for success in colleges of engineering. Courses offered are AP Calculus, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Algebra III, Physics, and four engineering courses specifically designed to introduce students to the field of engineering and bring mathematics and science to life with hands-on, problem-based learning. Pre-Engineering students gain academic knowledge and skills necessary for success in a college-level engineering program and gain an understanding of the engineering field so they can determine if engineering is a career they wish to pursue.
College credit is available upon passing the AP Calculus Exam, PLTW assessments, and college Algebra CLEP Exam. Please note since universities differ in their recognition of exam credits, the amount of college credit earned is dependent upon the policies of the specific university a graduate plans to attend.

Morning session – 8:10 – 11:10 a.m.
Afternoon session – 12:45 – 3:45 p.m.

College Credit:
Up to 9 hours available based on satisfactory completion of exams.
