HOSA-Future Health Professionals is a global student-led organization, whose mission is to become leaders in the global health community through education, collaboration, and experience.

The purpose of the HOSA organization is to develop leadership and technical HOSA skill competencies through a program of motivation, awareness, and recognition, which is an integral part of the Health Science and Biomedical Science Education instructional program.

HOSA is the student organization for the EMT, Health Careers Explorer, Medical Office Assistant, Practical Nursing, Pre-Nursing, Therapeutic Health Careers, and Veterinary Assistant classes at Mid-America Technology Center.
