Students Excel at HOSA Virtual State Leadership Conference

Mid-America Technology Center Practical Nursing, Emergency Medical Technician, Health Careers Explore, Medical Office Assistant, Pre-Nursing, and Therapeutic Health Careers students participated in the 2021 HOSA Virtual State Leadership Conference.

The results have been announced and the MATC students did extremely well!

  • The Practical Nursing students who placed at the conference are as follows:

Clinical Nursing: 1st place, Joseph Stroud, Lindsay

                              2nd place, Madison Delaplain, Pauls Valley

                              4th place, Kylie Mara, Elmore City

                              5th place, Tommie De Leon, Lexington

Human Growth and Development: 1st place, Sara Cox, Noble                                              

Job Seeking Skills: 3rd place, Meghan Allison, Pauls Valley

            The HOSA Virtual International Leadership Conference will be June 23-26. The MATC students eligible to compete on the international level are LPN students Joseph Stroud, Sara Cox, Graeson Darr, Madison Delaplain, Natalie Corn, Michael Nicholson, Maggie Thompson, Meghan Allison, and Crystal Cunha; EMT students Angel Cunningham, Cheyenne Storey, and Rebecca Town; Health Careers Explorer student Brynn Savage; and Pre-Nursing students Alyssa Brown, Estefania Ruiz-Reyes, and Elizabeth Dunn.
