Mid-America Technology Center students Thomas Edwards and Juleeanna Willems are currently serving as State SkillsUSA Officers.

Edwards, a MATC Cyber Security student, is the State SkillsUSA Vice President, and Willems, a MATC Horticulture Technician student, is the State SkillsUSA Treasurer; both students are seniors at Purcell High School.

Edwards and Willems, along with the rest of the State Officer team, recently served as facilitators and presenters at the Summer Leadership Institute (SLI) June 7-11 at Rogers State University and the Broken Arrow National Guard Reserve Center. They are anticipating a year filled with training, travel, meetings, conferences, and contests

These students are to be commended for their leadership skills and willingness to provide assistance whether it be locally, state or on the national level.
