Recently, MATC administrators, faculty, and staff members, Karen Hemmerling, Amy Cornforth, Sara Beth Simonton, Ashlee Russell, April Johnson, and Brooke LeMay, along with State Senators and Representatives had the opportunity to attend the Educator/Community Partner tour at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma.

The goal of the tour was to develop, strengthen, and enrich relationships with Education and Community Leaders.

The tour group was welcomed by Jacob L. Cecka, LTC, EN and the OKC Army Recruiting Command. After, the welcome, the group then had the opportunity to observe the training process at Fort Sill, ask questions, and gain valuable insight into the training process.

While touring Fort Sill, the group also had the opportunity to tour Jared Monti Hall simulation training and Patterson Hall for the Stinger Dome simulator.

Fort Sill is one of only five basic training bases in the United States.

Mid-America would like to say “thank you” for inviting us to be a part of this valuable learning opportunity.
