  JUNE 2021  


FLAMMABLE GAS EMERGENCIES (LPG)

Description: STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO BRING NFPA COMPLIANT PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (BUNKER GEAR) INCLUDING SCBA TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS TRAINING. Features essential knowledge and skills for handling flammable gas incidents in transportation or at fixed facilities. The 12-hour training includes eight hours of classroom, followed by four hours of live burn instruction. The course is recommended to emergency responders in public safety and industry. This will include Live Burn Evaluation.

ROPE RESCUE: LOW ANGLE OPERATIONS

Description: STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO BRING NFPA COMPLIANT PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (BUNKER GEAR) INCLUDING CLEAN RESCUE OR LEATHER WORK GLOVES, RESCUE OR FIREFIGHTING HELMET, SAFETY BOOTS, AND SAFETY GLASSES TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS TRAINING. This is a 12-hour course. The course will include classroom and hands-on training. After completing this course, the student shall be able to recognize low angle rope rescue incidents, associated hazards, conduct low angle rope rescues, recognize the need for additional resources, and assist Operations or Technician level teams. Target audience: all emergency responders.

WATER SHUTTLE

Description: STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO BRING NFPA COMPLIANT PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (BUNKER GEAR) TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS TRAINING. This is a 16-hour course. The course will include classroom and hands-on training. Provides basic knowledge and skills on how to draft water from a static water source and efficiently move water from source to incident location. Topics include: Drafting, pump operations, water source, and vehicle driving of tanker.

TRENCH RESCUE OPERATIONS

Description: STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO BRING NFPA COMPLIANT PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (BUNKER GEAR) TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS TRAINING. This is a 16-hour course. The course will include classroom and hands-on training. Participants learn safety factors, soil classification, trench dynamics, associated hazards and practice with an array of specialized equipment, shoring devices, and techniques to apply proper sequential steps for safe rescue operations to help victims that become trapped during a trench collapse.
