Your Path to Mid-America

The application and selection process for Mid-America Technology Center begins well before classes start in August. Throughout the year, prospective students have opportunities to explore our programs, tour campus, complete the application process, and prepare for enrollment.

 

The timeline below provides an overview of important milestones and what applicants can expect along the way.

FALL SEMESTER

• Campus Tours begin for partner-school, homeschool, EPIC, and other virtual-school students.
• Interviews & ACCUPLACER Testing are held at Mid-America on select dates for homeschool, EPIC, virtual-school, and adult applicants.
• Records Request — Student records are requested and reviewed, including transcripts and proof of residency.

SPRING SEMESTER

• Application Review & Selection — Applications and interviews are processed and scored for selection consideration.
• Re-Enrollment — Eligible first-year students complete the re-enrollment process for their second year at Mid-America.
• Enrollment Notifications are sent to applicants by email.
• IEP/504 Plan Review — For students with an IEP or 504 Plan, meetings are held with the student and parent/guardian to review appropriate goals and accommodations.

SUMMER

• Mandatory New Student Orientation is held for incoming students.
