Lineworker Technology

Description: This all-day one year program is only for adult students. It is designed to train high-voltage line workers utilizing hands-on instruction in indoor and outdoor labs, as well as theory-based learning on safety and electricity. Students will learn pole climbing and framing, electrical transmission and distribution and will have internship opportunities that get them started on their way to becoming Journeyman Lineworkers.

 

Hours:  Fulltime Class - 8:10 - 3:45 p.m.

Program Costs
Applicants are responsible for the cost of tuition, fees, and the purchase of additional required materials. The program costs for students is $6,000.00 of this amount $4,000.00 is payable on or before the first day of class. The remaining $2,000.00 is payable on or before January 1. Program costs include all required equipment, curriculum, training supplies, liability insurance, and class shirt.
