DRIVING EXAMS INFORMATION - Department of Public Safety
The written exams for Class D (driver's license and driver's permit) and motorcycle license can be taken in the Assessment Center at Mid-America Technology Center.
Documentation Requirements: State-issued copy of the birth certificate, or a valid, current photo identification issued by a government entity within the US (e.g. passport, military ID, state ID).

Candidates that pass the exam will need to take the signed score sheet to a Department of Public Safety site along with all required documentation to complete the process to obtain their license.
- Retests are allowed – one (1) day wait
- Skills testing will still be done directly with DPS along with the application process to receive the permit/license
