Description:

The purpose of the CareerTech Explorer program is to allow students who were unable to be admitted into an existing full-time program to start their CareerTech experience and to prepare those students for a successful transition into their desired program. CareerTech Explorer allows students to experience various CareerTech programs of interest while also learning valuable content in a shared classroom environment. CareerTech Explorer will incorporate content from multiple career clusters, such as personal finance, entrepreneurship, general safety, and professional skills, which would benefit completers of our existing programs. CareerTech Explorer will also give students the opportunity to be exposed to multiple CareerTech programs using in-house clinical/work-based experience formatted settings. CareerTech Explorer aims to better prepare the students to transition into and succeed in a traditional full-time program when the opportunity is available. 

Hours:

Morning session – 8:10 – 11:10 a.m.
Afternoon session – 12:45 – 3:45 p.m.

Normal Completion Time:  17 weeks for full-time status
