Details:

Volunteer Firefighter Training: STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO BRING NFPA COMPLIANT PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE) TO CONDUCT A VEHICLE EXTRICATION EXERCISE. This is a 16-hour course covering the basics of responding to an automobile accident. The course will include classroom and hands-on training concerning vehicle extrication techniques, vehicle stabilization techniques, and firefighter safety during vehicle accident responses. This course meets the NFPA 1670 Rescue Technician Professional Qualifications job performance requirements. In addition, this course will meet the Auto Extrication requirements for Firefighter II Certification.
