Description:
This program introduces students to the basic skills of a carpenter, safety practices, and carpentry tools and equipment uses/operations.  The student will also be introduced to materials used in cabinet making, blueprint reading, planning, measuring, cutting, and constructing cabinets and installing hardware.  The students will further gain understanding and use of these skills by building a moveable house that is sold at a sealed-bid auction.

Hours:
Morning session - 8:10 - 11:10 a.m.
Afternoon session - 12:45 - 3:45 p.m.
